LASIK
Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis, commonly referred to as LASIK, is a corrective alternative to glasses or contact lenses. Like glasses or contact lenses, LASIK is a method for treating refractive conditions including nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.
Refractive errors cause blurred vision and may require one to wear glasses or contacts, which can be inconvenient. For patients who would rather live without these hassles, laser eye surgery may be an option. There are many factors that should be considered before deciding to have laser eye surgery. LASIK is an exciting vision correction option; it is not a choice that you should make based on advertising or price alone. It is a complex procedure that requires several clinical visits, in depth discussions, explanations and careful guidance. At our office, we are equipped to manage and deliver your pre and post - operative care throughout this process.
